Bio
Cortona is born in Lyon (France) in 2002 but the current line-up appeared in 2004. The band is now composed of Pav (melody and guitar), Rav (lead guitar and chorus), Tama (bass) and Dwarf (drums). The sound waver between Punk Rock 77 and Rock'n'roll.
After two 6 tracks E.P. in 2004 and 2005, the band released its first L.P. entitled “Clash of Generations”. The best quality of Cortona is its stagecraft potential characterized by unbridled lives. The band exploits it by doing around twenty gigs per year.
In 2008, the D.V.D. “Live at Ninkasi and Other Futilities” is released composed of a live performance and many other videos recalling the life of the band. The same year, a new 4 tracks E.P. is also released called “We are the Bad News”.
For the future: tours, increase of the number of concerts in France and Europe; new recording sessions, and so on.
